BN's chapter : Electoral financial management

With the just concluded by election in Permatang Pauh, I believe that BN had just burnt another few hundreds of thousands or probably millions of ringgit to campaign for Datuk Arif Shah.

BN had spent probably billions of ringgit for electoral campaigns for decades. I can’t believe it that to the extent of owing a company an outstanding amount, following the 308 GE campaign.

The followings are some of the areas on how BN allocates their money for campaigning:
a. Designing campaigning posters, pamphlets, flags, buntings (including materials for defaming their opponents)

b. Paying their candidates allowances and expenses.

c. Sponsoring food parties together with entertainment from famous celebrities for the prospective voters in their candidates’ constituencies.

d. Paying their campaigning workers (including the samseng upahan for doing all the chaotic jobs and those giving false testimonies).

e. Paying for the setup costs of pusat gerakan, speech venues, canopies, transportation etc.

f. To bribe voters including those who are categorized as ghost voters to secure victory for them (they will never admit this crime to the extent of sumpah- menyumpah to prove their innocent).

g. Payment to contractors to repair and fill up potholes in kampung-kampung (frequency increase likely during campaigning period).

Over the years, DAP, PAS, PKR or independent candidates had been asking for donations from the generous public to fun their campaigns. Sometimes, they have to resist all kinds of odds including physical challenge against bad weather and mentally from negative criticisms. But that makes them interactively better with the people.

While BN has been using our hard-earned money, which we paid to this government daily, monthly or annually in the form of taxes, fees, compounds or duties.

So next time if BN offer you or try to bribe you to vote for their candidates, you shouldn’t accept the money because it’s so dirty and sinful to indulge yourself in this lustful act. But if you have no choice to accept it or threaten to do so, then just accept it. But during the polling day, say Tak Nak to BN by putting an X on other candidate instead of the dacing fella. This is a good way to teach them a lesson for swindling the rakyat’s hard earned $$$ for their electoral campaigns.
