In states where Sultan is the head of state, the appointment of a MB must be Malay from a Muslim background. Initially Lim Kit Siang objected that a representative from DAP should be named as the MB since they won the majority seats in DUN Perak. Later, he apologized to the royal family for his controversial statement and accepted the appointment of Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin. During the whole saga, Lim was labeled biadap (rude) in most mass media owned by BN cronies.
On the other hand, the controversy continues in Terengganu, where this time it involves the appointment of an unpopular face as the new MB of Terengganu by the Regent of Terengganu, which creates chaos from the other BN DUNs. They insist that Idris Jusoh should remains as the MB and will boycott the swearing in of the new MB, if he is not re-elected. So ladies and gentlemen, this means that they are rejecting and showing their disrespect over monarchial system, which are the symbol of the Malay sovereignty. This is against the 2nd statement of Rukunegara: KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA.
Now you can judge by yourself who are the real biadap? Their newspapers should have headlines like 23 wakil biadap terhadap Sultan. Imagine if Sultan put in his cup of wrath, Tulah on this UMNO buggers.
