The BN coalition government is still under scrutiny due to all the weaknesses that have surfaced since the aftermath of the election. The elected BN MPs in some constituencies are also under pressure from their supporters in their constituencies since their welfares have not been politically listened. The people believe that most of the MPs are under pressure due to the bad implementation system under the chaotic leaders such as Dollah and C4-Naj. Now most MPs don’t even know what are the directions, visions or missions to move forward to serve needs of the people.

So when PKR came to Sabah after the election to offer the BN MPs a marriage proposal to join them, no doubt that it brings a new hope to the people in the constituencies. A decade ago, BN had been using the same strategy to lure MPs and ADUNs from the then biggest opposition party of Sabah, PBS to join them to rule Sabah to bring lots of changes to the people. So after 8 years into millennium, what does BN benefits to the people? The MPs and ADUNs are full but a lot of people get the feelings of jackass.

From outside, people might view Sabah and Sarawak states as rich states because a lot of tycoons emerged from there. But in reality, these tycoons only make up a very small percentage of the large population. Their involvement in timber and natural resources are basically to harvest the wealth of the people for their own benefits and the BN cronies. So how much of the wealth are been channeled back to improve the welfare of the people? In both states, the gap between the rich and poor is currently very huge and worrisome.

Even the middle class professionals such as accountants and engineers (excluding O&G) are earning much lesser compare to the same professions in Peninsular Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak are no longer attractive to younger generations because they just don’t find enough wages to live and sustain their life due to the exploitation by their rich bosses. This has created a flow of work forces out of both states. With the rising cost of living, those who stay in both states are facing even more challenges to cope up with their living.

So does PKR’s proposal appropriate to the MPs in Sabah? Yes, because BN had been using the same strategies a few years back (excluding the hidden evil masterplan to swindle the people’s rights out of Sabah). But PKR should consider another proposal to the people. To bring back the wealth and welfare belonging to Sabah back to the people of Sabah. The same should be applied to Sarawak as well. More and more sarawakians are not happy with Mr. White Hair. The wind of change will come to you all next. Stay tune.

The link below shows the view among Sabah’s MPs regarding the PKR’s proposal.
